Travel
by train
to Waterloo East. Fare is £14.70 return, with a senior card or a Group,
groups of 3 to 9 people must
travel together.
Bring
sandwiches, but there is food on the route.
1.
Leave Hastings by train at 8.50. or Battle 9.06 .
Arrive Waterloo East at 10.29
2. Walk across Westminster Bridge, along Old Queen St. and down Cock
Pit steps into St. James Park (1.5 miles)
3. Onward to Green Park and pausing a moment at the Bomber Command
Memorial.
4. Crossing Picadilly and through back streets to pause
another moment at the Royal Institution and the Faraday Museum.
5. On up Harley Street to Regents Park.
6. Then past London Zoo to Primrose Hill. (Lunch Possible here) 5 miles
and 12.30 - 1.00 pm

More backstreets to Hampsted Heath (6.5 miles)
9.
Next stop at Highgate Wood. (9 miles)
10. Next through Muswell Hill (Wetherspoons here) into Alexander Palace
where it all started 5 years ago. (11 miles)
11 One more mile to Woodgreen
tube amd several changes back to Waterloo East.
12 Trains back at 5.18pm hourly
